Ernesto Community Day!

Today was the day for the annual Burnham Community Day. This is a craft sale where we had a stand for several years. We were not going to attend this year due to me working full time now.
There was an article in yesterday's newspaper about the Community Day. The headline for the article was -Forecast Will Not Dampen Festival Part of the article said that one of the committee members acknowledged that heavy rains could interfere with attendance and some of the festival's scheduled events. I would say that the rain interfered very much with the attendance - both of vendors and customers. I wanted to go out around just out of curiosity. As you can see in the photo at left and the one below, there just weren't very many people there at 10:30 this morning, which is usually the busy part of the day. There were three stands set up. Besides the vendors, I think there were probably about 5 or 6 people there (not counting the fire police who were there to direct traffic - what traffic?! One of them was standing on the front porch of a nearby house! I think Burnham Community Day got turned into Ernesto Community Day!
Thanks For Dropping In!
